This year has been very exciting for me and I hope that it has also been so far all of you. February 1st the Central Florida Presbyterian Women, had a very exciting Annual Gathering at "El Redentor" Presbyterian Church, where we had a great group of attendees. At this meeting an offering was collected and designated to El Centro Presbyterian Women, for transportation costs and other uses as they decide. We had a great time participating in Worship, Fellowship, Workshops and the installation of new officials.
On February 18-25th, I visited Cuba with a delegation of Central Florida Presbytery as their Partnership with the Cuba, El Centro Presbytery. I was able to take the offering on behalf of the PW of Central Florida, and spent a week there with 32 other participants and visited 12 churches.

The Coordinating Team of CFPW met March 3rd with their new directives, where all members presented their reports. We also held meetings during May and July via Zoom, to continue to talk about issues of importance to our group.
We have continued to work diligently in sending the money to the different missions to which they were assigned for, and we have also agreed to search for new ways to assign these funds that do not have any prior destinations before becoming official. We will work diligently in the future to distribute donations quarterly with the help of our treasurer.
During March 7-15th, with the support of the Presbyterian Women, I had the opportunity and blessing to attend the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69). I was able to attend discussions and panels on different issues: all related to how those issues affect the involvement of and development of women, their lives, and the lives of others.

Another thing that we did this year, with the help of our tech, is that we have been updating our online page, as well as purchased a Zoom account in order to continue to have our Zoom meetings. This is something that has helped us to to meet in a more efficient way, since our Presbytery is somewhat challenged in terms of distance.
Our Annual Bible Study was celebrated at Oakland Presbyterian Church this past August 2nd. Our Vice Moderator did a wonderful job, together with the ladies at Oakland Presbyterian Church, for us to have a great experience of learning, worship and camaraderie. There were about 88 women, who met and had breakfast and lunch together, as well as a great learning experience.

The presenter of this year Bible Study was our own Janira Colon, who did a wonderful job presenting and resuming the new bible study (2025-2026), Finding Resilience, Joy and Our Identity in Jesus Christ. Janira was able to put some of her personal touch and experiences in dealing with these things herself as she talks and explain each chapter of these bible study.
We were all able to enlarge our network of friends as sisters in Christ. Women who continue to commit themselves, and who dedicate of their time to learning and growing of their faith in Jesus.
CFPW looks forward to our coming October 2025 SYNOD Triennial meeting, at Epworth-by-the Sea on October 16 - 19th, and I hope to personally meet with many of you there.
