Prayer Requests and Closing Prayer:
Borrowed from “Draw Near” by Lynne M. Bash, Presbyterian Today 2015 Lenten Devotional
Scripture: Psalm 104 O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.
God created the earth and sustains its every part; the seas, springs, and rivers; the birds, sea creatures, and other animals; the grass, plants, and trees. All of creation looks to God to “Give them their food in due season,” and humans are not exempted from this utter and complete dependence on God. We rely on God with every breath we take.
God my Maker and Provider, help me to be willing to acknowledge how much I depend on you and help me to see your hand at work in the creation around me. Amen

District 1 Coordinator’s Report – Vacant – No Report
District 2 Coordinator’s Report – Sandy Weil
Elected Moderator at Deland, getting to know churches in the area
District 3 Coordinator’s Report - Carol Potter
I was installed as District Coordinator at the Jan. 25 Annual Meeting at the Wekiva Presbyterian Church. Since then, I have contacted the churches by e-mail or phone to update the leaders of PW in those churches. I have learned that several of the churches no longer have active PW groups. For those churches, I have received a contact person, usually the office manager, to whom I can forward information. I have tried to correct e-mail addresses that bounce back.
Within the next few weeks, I will again try to make personal contacts and visits to each of the churches/women leaders. In the meantime, I have forwarded all the info I have received from Karen Hamilton. I have also encouraged them to consider attending the Church Wide Gathering in Minneapolis this summer or send a delegate. A question: Does our CFPW have funding to help women wishing to go, but not being able to afford the cost? In my letter of introduction, I have also said I would be interested in knowing more about their church, their women, and their projects. I also offered to assist with installations and in way that I might be of service.
As a member of North Lake PC, our PW continues to focus on its mission projects. We have had dwindling interest in some circles. A main concern/dislike has been with this year's Horizon Bible Study. Four of NL's circles have opted out of using the materials. This year's study has been somewhat controversial. The other common complaint is that the Horizons' studies are hard to work with and teach. Rather than have Circles disband because of the course materials, it was opted to let them do studies from other books. Has this been a problem for other churches?
District 4 Coordinator’s Report –Vacant – No Report
District 5 Coordinator’s Report– Jean Evans
Forwarded all e-mails to my churches.

Attended the Gathering at Wekiva . It was a very nice event.
Shared the info from the Gathering with my churches.
Forwarded Karen’s emails
Park Lake PW gathered food to share with Washington Shores Food Pantry.
Many inactive PW’s in my District.
District 7 Coordinator’s Report – Beth Timmons
Cocoa and 1st PC Titusville PW representatives attended the Annual Gathering. After the low turnout from District 7 for the Annual Gathering, I drove to each church to hand out the information I gathered for them. Pineda's PW were meeting that day, so I spoke to their whole group about the PWCFP calendar, the Global Mission Exchange, and the National PW meeting in Minneapolis. I talked to the Moderator at Rockledge PC. I hope it helps. I also received a nice report from 1st PC Titusville PW on how they're doing.
District 8 Coordinator - Becky Stewart
I attended the Annual Meeting of PWCFP in January at Wekiva Presbyterian Church. I provided transportation for 4 ladies from Sebastian Presbyterian, so they could attend. After the meeting, I distributed extra packets of materials to my churches. First Presbyterian, Vero held their Annual Meeting which I attended and installed three new officers for 2015. I will be serving on the Resolution Committee for First Presbyterian Church, Palm Bay. That brings a total of 3 churches from District 8 that no longer have a working PW. I continue to forward all information, sent from Karen, to my churches.

I had a meeting with Diane Watkins going over all the items to discuss and pass along to PW and the Presbytery. On March 7th I attended the Presbytery Meeting in Merritt Island where I had a table about the Cuba Partnership and signups for the upcoming visits of 3 Pastors from the churches in the Santa Clara Presbytery in Central Cuba. They will be here the first 2 weeks of June.

Since January 1 I have attended the Coordinating Team meeting at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church and the Annual Gathering at Wekiva Presbyterian Church. At the Gathering I introduced our Vocational Scholar recipients, Katy Steinberg and Joe Raymond to those in attendance. I also lead one of the discussion groups for our program, Living the PW Purpose.
I will be attending the Preparation for Ministry Committee retreat May 30 to present information about our scholarships to those who are candidates. Enquirers will/may be in attendance and will learn about assistance available when they become candidates.
I encourage everyone to share information about the scholarships with their churches.
